Yes, looks like the bar before Zubiri. As I recall they had a great tortilla...
edited - looked at my pictures but now can't remember if it's before or after, but it's in that area. I remember eating there, going to the bathroom, and the pretty view.
I've washed my backpack after every Camino. I have an Osprey. I disassemble it and open all the compartments and take the air back out of its slide. Using a mild soap like dish soap or woolite I put it in the tub and then using a brush wash the straps and washcloth on the large areas. Lots...
I just finished the Primitivo and I'd check and possibly make your bookings in advance instead of relying on "hope" as even in season there aren't a lot of albergue options in some places. As well on the terrain, it's rocky with steep climbs so boots and poles are a must. There might be some...
I made it to Santiago. For all of you following, there is a shop behind the cathedral that makes Galicia silver and objects including crucifixes. I got one there, they are beautiful and run a few hundred euros depending on size. The name is Augusto Otero.
Thanks. I’ll take a look. I’m not wanting jewelry but one to hang on the wall. I’m on the Primitivo now and didn’t find one in Lugo so hoping Santiago was better. I also wanted to avoid sending all day searching. I’ll ask once I get to the Parador.
I’m looking for a store in Santiago to buy a crucifix. Not a trinket but a nice one. If they have other items as well, that would be nice. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My first was the entire Frances in 2017. The second was the Portugese from Porto in 2019. This September is the Primitivo from Villaviciosa. Each one was special and different in ways, but the constant was being able to walk it with my Dad. We decide based on history, our physical abilities...
If you haven't left yet you or you want to backtrack before you get to far youcould have started in Villaviciosa and that would have added days before Oviedo.
