Wow, some great views, everyone.
Lots of openness.
My dog is on the morning (7.30am) round sniffing the scent of any possums or other critters of the night.
I've brought hiking socks from Decathalon (Melb) and found them absolutely brilliant.
I now own 10 pairs and use them daily.
Highly recommend you give them a go. Not blisters, no hot spots, and a great price too.
Hi @Hilarious
I always got my first hit of coffee around a hour and a half after walking. A fellow Pelligrino mentioned to me that you never by pass a coffee opportunity when you see one open as you never know if it was your last.
Generally I had great coffees all the way, except when just...

Hi everyone. Brought a 35L Macpac Torlesse today. Every excited.
Packed all my stuff in, with just a little room to spare. Total weight under 7kg.
Hoping that I can include my pack as carry on. Does anyone know if I can bring my walking pole on board too? I'm flying Emirates and Air France
Thanks everyone for your input.
i've just spent the last two hours packing and unpacking, repacking and removing excess items. I'm now down to around 6kg. Planning to buy a smaller pack as the current one is a 60L. Far too big. Was looking at the same one as TeeJ41 on line earlier today. Is it a...
Well I've finally done it, I'm all booked and now ready and waiting to start my first solo Camino Frances.
I arrive at Biarritz airport on 9.20am Tuesday 25 September. Then the journey to SJPDP to start walking on Wednesday.
Looking forward to my journey and meeting everyone on this path to...
Currently planning to walk solo from SJPDP around mid September. Still trying to find the courage to commit myself, but also excited to start. Is this a natural feeling?
