I am also using the Conqueror app to walk the Camino Santiago in lieu of the Invierno in real life which was the plan to do in June. Camino Frances or primitivo as a solo older woman
I walked the Primitivo on my own last year in August and did not feel unsafe for one moment. There were a few younger females who also walked solo. Next year I am planning to walk the Invierno on my own - I cannot wait!- Lise Z

The shortcut, following the road, is very short - less than two kilometers. Fortunately the road was quiet when I continued with it. It is the same road which takes you up from the dam to the town.- Lise Z
