Which part of the Frances for a week?

I have walked SJPdP-Logroño and are now planning to walk with 4-6 friends. We will just use a week (6-7 days). Is Logroño and Burgos a great walk for us? I have read different comments on this part of the Frances and I would like to show them something really nice. Should we choose the last...

Thanks a lot for all your detailed information, very appreciated. We plan to walk in September next year so I am planning a long time in advance.

6-8 days on Via Francigena in Italy

This time I will walk with a friend that would like to walk in Italy. We have 6-8 days available and the best is if we have as short time as possible to and from airports. Do you have some suggestions where to start and end?

Poll Which accommodations do you primarily use?

Because I feel it is interesting to see what kind of accommodation users on this forum prefers to use. Do others have the same thoughts as me? (It seems so). Choose the two you use most.

Poll Which accommodations do you primarily use?

I haven't heard of parochials. Can you describe more? If a moderator sees this, please add it into the poll.

Poll Which accommodations do you primarily use?

This is a poll if you didn't get that from the prefix. You can answer in the poll or in the thread or both. The alternatives is probably not covering all alternatives or some of them is similar, but I did my best when finding the answer alternatives. Which (max two alternatives per person)...

    Class of 2020

I will just walk for 7 days from Logrono so no Santiago this year. I will start walking the 6th of June. We can try to see if we can end up in Santiago at the same time in the future. I am far behind you. 😀 I feel I can not use so much vacation on this when I have family that wants to travel...

    The Last Camino?

I have been a member in an orienteering team for many years and we had a member that passed away at the age of 102. When he was 97 he was traveling from Sweden to Brazil and participated in World Championship. He won (maybe 😄 because he was the only participant over 95, in orienteering you...

Poll How many km/miles per day do you use to walk in average?

In another forum I am joining it is automatically written ”Poll:“ as a prefix in front of the thread title when you add a poll. Maybe that is possible here as well? if not it is off course possible to write it manually in the start of the thread title. Can that be a solution @biarritzdon and...

Poll How many km/miles per day do you use to walk in average?

Probably, 😄 but a poll is more fun and easier to conclude (but off course you have to read all “ifs” and “buts” to get the full picture. Everyone can feel free to just answer the question without answer the poll.

    Advise to the beginner

You will feel it in your body, but mostly in a good way. I am 50 and I love it. Next time I will walk alone and I am looking forward to that. If you can have a flexible schedule so you can walk shorter when/if you want, that is really great.

Poll Which Spanish Caminos have you walked?

I agree. I thought of using Iberian Peninsula but was not sure if that got more confusing so I hoped no one should notice. :D

Poll How heavy is your backpack?

On your last Camino, how heavy was your backpack without water? https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/weight/pound-to-kg.html
