Relax! Roncesvalles can be problematical though. My suggestion is to stay in Orisson on Day 1. Then you will reach Roncesvalles in good time. Other than that, avoid stage towns. And book between Sarria and Santiago
You have no idea how many times I have ordered apparent vegetarian food to find a bit of meat in it. Things are not so rosy. I am not a radical vegan, just someone who would like a few more food choice options other than patatas fritas y ensalada sin carne, sin pollo, sin pescado, sin huevos...

What I mean by adequately serviced is hostel accommodation every 20-30km. I don't want to carry a tent and cannot afford to stay in hotels except perhaps occasionally.
Only an arsehole would judge you for not carrying your pack! If you can afford to send your pack on and want to, do it. It is YOUR camino, so do it as you want to!

I have met so many people who have injured themselves, walking over 25km a day.
Personally, it is a much more pleasurable experience walking 10-15km a day. Plenty time to sit and listen to the birds singing, or just to lie on the grass and stare up at the clouds.
