Post Office Hours during Holy Week

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking now I might use the luggage transfer as far as Ponferrada and ship it from there. Unless Easter Monday is also a public holiday?

Post Office Hours during Holy Week

I have asked the Correos and they have been surprisingly very helpful, but they told me Thursday will be public holiday and that's the day I arrive in Astorga.

Post Office Hours during Holy Week

That is/was my plan but the problem is the post office won't be open so I won't be able to send it.

Post Office Hours during Holy Week

Hi all, So I've decided to walk the camino from Astorga to Santiago next year starting on Easter Saturday. I've read that the week prior to Easter is holiday in Spain and businesses may be closed or have erratic hours. Does anyone know if the post office will be open on the Thursday at all? I...

    Question about occasional luggage transfer

So.. I'm in research stage of my camino, and I have a question about luggage transfer that I can't seem to find the answer for anywhere. I understand that people who use daily luggage transfer will have a day pack with them too, but for those who would like to only use the service occasionally...

    Suggestion for 6 day walk

Thanks Michael! :) I will definitely look into it. Do they have a good luggage transfer service on CP? Since I will be travelling onwards after the camino I will have more than just my backpack.

    Suggestion for 6 day walk

Thanks Graeme, I think so far that's been the most appealing route for me too. As I mentioned above I might try to stretch the time so I can walk as far as Logrono if I do decide to start at SJPDP. You managed to walk to Logrono in 6 days? That's impressive! I think that would be way too much...
