Hi due to time and money restraints I am starting my camino from Portomarin on 26th and finishing on 30th in Sanatiago ( roughly 14 /20 kms a day) I walk quite slow but would love to meet and or walk with anyone else who is walking that way from that date ... my schedule is here sorry...

or if you stopping in santiago you can get them in decathlon which is not far from the cathedral or make your own from some natural (broken of course) branches from the trees :) )
actually mass production is a lot cheaper than limited production for example most prison food its budgetted at around 3 gbp per prisoner (in the UK) I dont really see how someone could live on a three meals a day at that price or for a family - but I do see your point, find me ANY...
Dinah I think we should walk together ha ha, I am doing part of Norte in March (eek might be snow) from O Cerebeiro and part of Frances from Vilalba in September ( so avoiding the main hub of people ) the Primativo looks fab but lots of steep climb towards the "end of the day"...
Ah no wonder you are planning ahead no oil could be a big problem most fish dishes are in oil but salads etc a la plancha ( but they are really really really dry) you may have to cook for yourselves better to err on the side of caution - a little oil does usually mean at least...

Why get a taxi? there are plenty of buses that go there check out rome2rio website they show you all the options and definately much cheaper than a taxi
