BOM caminho.Your shoes could be replaced in Porto, sounds good for you. It took me 6 weeks to walk to Santiago from Lisbon in 2019 but I'd be more concerned about finding enough water each day! Don't forget the Vaseline on your feet every day. Ch
What about walking up (and down) the Story bridge? I remember walking up the Sydney Harbour bridge and gained a lot of confidence in myself, before my first Camino Francis in 2016. I have always got jittery before subsequent caminos....love

One little point about walking to Porto, I would catch a bus to Porto & start there, so you are going with the flow of pilgrims not againgst the flow to Santiago. Buen Camino.

I've experienced 3 CF's from SJdP & 2 X Portuguese caminos from Porto then Lisbon. I have loved all my pilgrimages.
I always talk about my Fatima experience to Portuguese people as that is the Camino the Portuguese pilgrims love to do.

John B likes to sleep outside on the verandah, under the stars. And did you know there's a couple's room? next to the big bedroom....what a great albergue! Wonderful experience for me in May 2019. Book at least 2/3 days ahead!
