    What I have learnt so far - and I haven't even left yet :-)

    Sounds like very thorough prep - well done. Another good foot care tip is to remove your boots and socks at every opportunity (even if just for 10 mins) and let the fresh air in! It seems like a pain to go to the trouble of lacing up again, but is well worth it.
