Walked from Atapuerca to Burgos today through constant heavy freezing rain and snow. It’s still only 6 degrees, 2 when we started. Lots of pilgrims taking the bus and taxis, they just didn’t have the wet weather gear.
We are currently using Correos and find them reliable and professional, we are paying 4euros a day as we’ve signed up for the whole route to Santiago. I can’t recommend them highly enough
Yes, I needed a lightweight sleeping bag and I had a silk liner and pillowcase.
I had a lightweight down jacket but hardly used it and a lightweight thin fleece and one long sleeved base layer. It’s so difficult deciding what to take!
Hi, the weather was exceptionally good, snow on the ground on the Pyrenees but warm and sunny, just had a couple of rainy days in the month I was walking! ....hopefully it’ll as good next April!
