What is the most intimidating aspect of walking the Camino Frances on your own? I'm a man so it might be a different answer compared to a woman's perspective.
Has anyone biked on this route which starts in Norway and then joins up with the Spanish Camino de Santiago? It's called the "EuroVelo 3 Pilgrims Route". I would be interested in beginning somewhere in France: http://www.eurovelo.com/en/eurovelos/eurovelo-3/countries/france...
Thanks very much. Once you arrived in San Sebastian from Madrid by plane, did you then travel by train to SJPDP? I would have thought it would be easier to simply take a train with your bike from Madrid to Pamplona. Regards
If I can bring my bike on a train from Barcelona to Pamplona and Santiago to Madrid, do I have to disassemble it and put it in a bike box? Or can I leave it assembled? Thanks very much. Also, is May a good month to be cycling in Spain on the Camino Frances and/or Camino de Norte?
Wow, sounds like a great trip! How difficult is it to travel on an airplane with your bike to the trail? Thanks very much. I'm thinking of going on the trip in May this year.
Thanks for the report, very useful. Would a typical touring-bike tire be sufficient? Or is it better to have wider tire (such as on a typical mountain bike)? (Touring bike tires are wider that road-bike tires.) How much of the path you took was on pavement/concrete/asphalt? Thanks
