We would like to spend one night in Santiago when we arrive, and the next day take transportation to Guimarães (at a reasonable time, ie. not late at night). Does anyone know the best way to do this? Bus? I know we can take a bus to Porto, and then train, but the times aren't good. We could...
I've read many posts on this topic, and I know many walkers get this, including me (has happened many times and gets worse each time it happens). I have it terribly again today from walking 18 km yesterday in Boston in hot, humid weather. I will be walking in Portugal in September.

What is the descent like into Redondela? Brierly describes it as almost vertical. When researching on this forum someone said it is very, very, very steep, and caused foot problems for the rest of their trip. What do people think? One option is to walk part of the way from O Porrino, and then...
Can anyone give me information about getting the bus from Mos to Redondela? We will be heading from Porrino but thinking of taking the bus for this section because of the dangerous last part into Redondela.

We have walked from Porto and will get Tui.tomorrow We have plenty of time to take it easy getting to Santiago. Any suggestions for accommodations that are around 10 km apart? nuggestions for stopovers? Would it be good to stay two nights iin Tui?
I’ll be arriving early in the morning at the end of June or early July at the Lisbon airport, needing to take the train to Porto. Is it OK to buy the train ticket when I get there instead of ahead of time? Is there a train ticket that allows one to take any train? The challenge is not...
We plan to start walking from Porto, or from Matosinhos. If we want to take 2 days to get to Vila do Conde, what itinerary do you suggest, and where would be the nicest location to stay overnight? Thanks for any advice!
In June planning to start in Porto and follow the Senda Litoral and combine with the Coastal Route and possibly the Central. Having a fear of heights, is there anything I should be concerned about? Even being on a fairly wide path, if there is a cliff at the edge, I feel very uncomfortable...
