I carried a mixture of citrus, lavender and tea tree oils with me and bathed my feet in cold water with twenty drops every time at the end of each walk, Also socks need to be cotton if allergic-- and 'other' sweat proof'- not always the best,,

I think it is also great to try to walk from Paris to Santiago..although i must say I prefer somewhere in Spain than France, I think pilgrimage is respected in Spain and safe- France not so evident thus one cannot be sure

Biarritz and then coach to BAyonne and a breathtakingly beautiful train journey to St Jean Pied du Port wd be the correct French route ( although some walk from le Puy and some, even from Paris- Notre Dame..)..

One has to take great care over the Pyrenees as the snow can be deep and also, in Rabanal there was reportedly four feet of snow.. unimaginable given the scorching July summer.
Avalanches are not to be ruled out and the huge rocks can be ... some pilgrim deaths are recorded by...
It is possible....
Time is what the Camino is about -- not just the walking... It is best to haev no deadline when one walks the Camino -- but if you do then
maybe 100-150 kms is a good idea..
If you have time then I wd suggest just walk from St Jean -- Classic Camino Frances -- 748...

You will get a palce always... providing you sget in there by 2 p.m. Tricastella is a bit hard as there is only one Xunta...
But there are many albergues that will put you up for a about six oer seven Euros..
Also, the one in oCerebreiro.. is bad.. Try and take the one before and walk on...
Taking time walking is what the Camino is about. I did it in 28 days but it was because as each day went by I felt fitter and stronger. The killer first day at SJPP is something.. and after that it does not get worse. But the heat in July makes the meseta ( Buros- Leon0 hard going..
