I have a similar condition which comes and goes. I really like the You Tube videos by Will Harlow called Thriving beyond Fifty. He is a physiotherapist who covers all sorts of ailments for people as they age. I have found his exercises to be very helpful. He even has a video on how to correctly...

Pilgrims from Australia and the wonderful New Zealand

I love those huge G&Ts. An Israeli pilgrim once told me that the quinine in the tonic is great for leg cramps so of course I have to have one at the end of each day just to make sure I don’t get any. 😁

Hi from Darwin. Walked the Frances and Finisterre in 2019. I walked the Frances and Portugués last year. I guess I walked two caminos each time because of the expense and time to come back again but never thought of it that way. Planning on walking the Del Norte next year. My sister-in-law...

    Camino Frances-Finally

I took the 12:38 train on Wednesday to Bayonne. My flight to Paris CDG was due at 7:35am but was running about 40 minutes late, I was so glad I booked the later train as I originally looked at one around 9:20 from memory.

A stay of greater than 90 days

No Nothing. There was no paperwork, no questions just showing the Australian passport and always let through. I stayed in various countries including Spain, France, Germany, Portugal and many others. In 2016 I was away for 6 months and in 2019 nearly 5 months.

A stay of greater than 90 days

If you go to the smarttraveller.gov.au website which is the official Australian Government website it lists all the Schengen countries that we have a bilateral arrangement with. It is probably the same as the NZ agreement. My last 2 trips exceeded the 90 day limit and I had no problems whatsoever.

Any past or future pilgrims in the Top End?

Start swimming now and you may make it for next year. You will certainly deserve a Gold Class cabin on the Ghan after that!
