    New here - and excited!

If you are on facebook, you may also find the "CAMIGAS ~ A Buddy System for Women on the Camino" group helpful. There are SO many resources to plan your own Camino. Some tools that I found helpful when first diving in: watching vlogs and info videos on YouTube of those that have travelled (Efrén...

Planning to walk from Astorga solo, advice please!

I’m on the Camino now. Flight to Madrid, bus to Léon (leaves directly from Terminal 4), overnight night in Léon and then early morning bus to Astorga. I’m walking for 13 nights + 2 nights in front end + 2 nights in Santiago. I recommend you check out the Camigas fb group for solo women...

Arriving Madrid Airport Sept 2021. Queue delays??

In 24 hours I'll be arriving in Madrid and catching the 11:15 am bus to Leon. Overnighting in Leon and then taking the 8:15 am-9am bus to Astorga! I'm happy to give you any tips regarding that trip. The Leon bus leaves from T4 so I'm hoping it will be smooth going. Buen Camino!

Arriving Madrid Airport Sept 2021. Queue delays??

Do you know where exactly you catch this bus at T4? I'll be there in 24 hours and would appreciate any info you may have so that I can find it on the first try! The website is confusing as it's not clear as I go the the floor where there is the ticket office or to the floor where the "local" bus...

Thanks for this comment. I realize that I may run into those that think my preparations and abbreviated walk "don't count". I'm content with my plans and what I'm able to do now. It's all good :)

I appreciate you mentioning Camino Ingles as an alternative. I really am looking at my long-term goal of walking the full CF with "familiar road ahead" at the end. I will think on it more.

Start recommendations 6-9 days to SdC

I'm sure this topic has been covered thoroughly but I'm not able to find it. I only have 6-9 (10?) days but am determined to walk to SdC on the CF. (Flight to/from Madrid.) I will be landing in late April, finishing the first week of May. What are your recommendations for a smart, lovely...
