Hi there,
my son and I faced this issue last year, but as it turned out, it was no problem, b/c in the towns previous to Santiago, we found internet cafes, which give you access to the internet and printing privileges, I think it costs us all of 2 Euros for 2 boarding passes... good luck...
- I do hope you have good weather as you'd be going to the meseta right away - and if you are alone, this will invariably make you feel more alone (possibly) b/c there are fewer towns/villages than in other regions of the compostela (e.g. Pamplona to Logrono, which has many small villages and...
I would say Fonfria - it was wonderful, the beds were great, the food was so good, and even with rain and fog, we were all in a great mood (and it was full!) -
best wishes

although there were a few places that didn't have internet access, we found that usually you could find internet service - yes a Euro per half hour is not surprising. Also, in cities, or larger towns, you could access internet cafes (so print out boarding passes, book online, etc). The truth...
it is quite common for people to walk 25k per day, and quite normal to carry 11kg (my son and I each carried about 10kg - including sleeping bag, extra footwear, water, and all gear needed) - 25k per day is easily walkable if you are in reasonable shape. Most important is good footwear, expect...
My son and I travelled last year, and for the most part, sleeping in dormitories, and not necessarily eating the pilgrim's meals every night, but having good food anyway, we spent between 25 and 30 Canadian Dollars each day (each of us)... I think you would be spot on with 25 to 30 american...
