Aside from the Via de la Plata and Via de la Estrella, there's apparently another Camino that passes parallel to the Via de Plata, but goes through the area of Las Hurdes before entering Castilla y León.

It's in Galician and Portuguese. The vast majority of pilgrims who do this route are Portuguese or Galicians, so that makes sense.

Hi! I live in Spain and I would love to do the Caminho Nascente as shown on the Alentejo/Ribatejo site. However the problem is that it seems very hot. Like, very hot, even at night time. Doing it now seems unwise, so I would like to plan for next time. What would be the best months to do this route?
