Torn Meniscus Experience
Right surgery is sketchy. I was on the fence for a long time. But surgery for meniscus tears definitely sounds overused in my experience and the long term outcome not so good. While some do have good results some progress into arthritis earlier and repairs can re-tear. Repairs are better though...- 1rub

I've torn my knee a couple of times. I did a lot of research into meniscus surgery. First time healed about 90% in a few weeks and then occasionally felt sketchy if I got near hyperextension which is how I hurt it. Second time could have hurt the same tear as the first because the mri showed it...- 1rub
