High season on the Frances is probably not for you unless you can practise khilwat dar anjuman.
A less travelled and still lengthy route was my first, starting Malaga on the Mozarabe, joining the VdlP at Merida and finishing on the Sanabres. You could continue to Fisterra if you wanted. Longer...
I always hand washed my clothes on the VF. Indeed I have always hand washed on any of the Caminos I have walked. I do not wear "technical". I have had no problems. Taking a drying line is a good idea. I generally use the same soap for my clothes as for my body.
That is exactly what I used to do and for the same reasons. Whether you need them or not is moot and may depend on what condition you want your knees to be in down the track when you are old and buggered, but still want to camino.
I wish I had started using them sooner.
I don't see a problem, provided you are reasonably fit and healthy. I have walked all these routes, though not necessarily as a combo. I have walked Salvador followed by Primitivo, which was most enjoyable.
Does anyone know if you can get a stamp at St James in Sydney?
I asked this years ago and they didn't have one.
You can light a candle there, which I like to do at the end of my journey. I have lit candles along the way whenever I can since my third Camino. A friend had asked me to light a...
I have done two intensive courses at Escuela Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada, each lasting 4 weeks. The first was in preparation for my first Camino starting from Malaga. I had no Spanish before this and learned enough to survive on the Mozarabe/VdlP/Sanabres. I call this survival level. The...
I get my merino from:

I use the MKM Active Range singlets and tees. Have never had a problem with holes or shredding. Lighter weight merino tees from another manufacturer shredded under my pack straps.
Do not wear cheap plastic flip flops on wet cobblestones. LETHAL.
I walk in light boots and wear expensive non-lethal flip flops in the evenings.
I do not wear footwear in the shower and have never had a problem - yet.
Menu del dia for me. More expensive than the pilgrim menu, but usually MUCH better. It introduced me to the delights of a dessert of ice cream with whisky.
VdlP was my first, starting Malaga, so Mozarabe-VdlP-Sanabres-Fisterra.
I was early 50s, overweight and unfit.
Started early April.
Loved it.
I walked Frances and Norte in later years, enjoying both. VdlP was the star amongst those 3. Maybe because it was my first?
Where I fly to varies, but mostly I fly home to Sydney from Barcelona. There are cheap flights from SJpdP to Barcelona. An enjoyable last few days in Spain. The cathedral has what is probably my favourite baptismal font.
I am fairly confident that I saw bear poo near the monastery of San Toribio near Potes. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo, but I did look up "bear poo" on google and the pictures seemed to match what I saw.
There is a camino through Potes and an albergue.
In France between Narbonne and Sjpdp...
