Good to be back on the Forum!

Well, I'm back. In all of life's ups and downs these last couple of years, the Camino kind of took a back seat to everything else. Yes, it seems it's still quite chaotic out there... And they're making these changes/cancellations often without any warning or explanation. Sorry for your set-back :(

OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Delta Airlines just cancelled my trip!

From what I've been hearing, a lot of airlines have been doing this lately - cancelling certain legs of the flights - with no explanation or reason! This happened to me last year 3 times! And my sister just had cancellations on one leg of her EU flight. This makes me very hesitant to keep...

OBSOLETE COVID THREAD PCR test for crossing from Spain by bus or taxi to France for SJPP?

In my honest opinion, you have every right to ASK a question and get an answer - why apologize? This Forum is exactly for that expressed purpose - to ask questions and get reliable and informed answers. One thing I have not liked or appreciated on the Forum, is how some people are so quick to...

OBSOLETE COVID THREAD PCR test for crossing from Spain by bus or taxi to France for SJPP?

This is where it gets so confusing for the traveler. Every country has their stipulations and it seems that they're all varying and different in what they require. It would be nice if they could all get on the same page, in order to avoid this mass confusion.

    Walking in May, 2022...

If I am unable to walk the Camino in September 2021, then I will consider the Spring of 2022, as well. Trying to remain hopeful.

    Trail Runners I'm Looking at

I have had issues in the past with Plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs, so I find these to be so comfy and supportive. Then, at home around the house, I wear Oofos restorative flip-flops in order to best support my feet.

First time Camino Frances Sep 2021

I read somewhere that you can put in a request for one (online), as you are within distance of Santiago and they will have it ready for you to pick up at a specified time.
