    Travel Burgos to Santiago.

Does anyone know if there is a bus or train from Burgos to Santiago. We have finished the podiensis. Have now walked to Burgos and trying to get to santiago. All I can find is a 10pm arrival time.

A good app for Via Podiensis?

We used Wise Pilgrim on the CP and loved it. Walking from Le Puy in Sept 2022 and have downloaded it for the Podiensis.

Car Transport from Santiago to Lisbon

We took a car service in 2021. MyDayTrip was the company. Yes it’s expensive but door to door service and our driver was fantastic. Kept ya informed of all the local highlights, history and sights along the way.

Try emailing express bouricott and they will pick you up at your arrival time and take you to SJPdP. The more people they pick up the less you pay. It worked perfectly!

Hello! Happy to have joined this forum!

We are walking Le Puy to Burgos starting early Sept 2022. I have only high school french so am trying to brush up on that. From what I have seen it looks to be a beautiful trip but I too worry that the international connections may be limited. Added a bit of the Frances for that very reason...

    Paris to Le Puy

We are arriving in Paris CDG on Sept 1st and will also be travelling to Le Puy to start walking on Sept 4th. We are spending the night at CDG (points) and then would like to train to Le Puy on the 2nd. Is the train right at CDG? A bit of a nervous Nellie so would like this buttoned up before we...

LIVE from the Camino Day 1, Camino Portugués Central

We walked Lisbon to SdC sept 2021 and it was terribly lonely! I guess it depends on what you enjoy but having walked the Frances twice before I much preferred meeting others! It didn’t get much better north of Porto either.

    Thanks! I’ll check it out.

    CaminoWays

Thank you so much! We are good on our own for the Frances but Le Puy is a bit more daunting for us.

First time Camino Frances Sep 2021

I think it wise to book the first three nights. Space is limited and now that travel is once again opening up you may be stuck. 2019 was filled to capacity until Pamplona. 2021 only allowed 50% capacity and again was booked solid.

Baggage Transfer Service: What to Expect on the Frances Route

Our favourite company was Camino Facil. We used JacoTrans the first time around. Bags are usually there by noon.

    PCR test labs in Santiago

Much easier to book at Clinica Revimedic. Close by and results guaranteed that same day. We just came back to Canada and it worked beautifully. It’s close by and $90 euro.

    PCR test labs in Santiago

Canada requires PCR as do several other countries. Check out TravelDocs. It’s a great website that indicates what each country requires.

    PCR test labs in Santiago

We used Clinica Revimedic. They are maybe a 10 to 15 minute walk from the cathedral and we had results in 5 hours! English speaking and very professional. Super impressed. Results sent electronically.

OBSOLETE COVID THREAD Domestic flights in Spain

Unfortunately Eurofin do not have a lab in Santiago. Any other ideas. I do not speak Spanish and many of the clinics websites do not offer English translation.
