I was looking at the curzon email yesterday. Guardian review wasnt great. Even said the photography and landscape filming not good which is what I wanted to ignite those old memories.
On all caminos, I've never had a problem. Need a wee, find a tree or bush to squat behind. If you use loo paper, take it with you in a plastic bag. It really usnt so difficult and gi to the loo when you stop for a coffee. I did the coastal portugese route August 2018 and it was no problem.
Excuse me, I was saying it was busy. I was not lamenting how much it has changed.
Perhaps you are not responding to my post.
Your tone is somewhat rude and implying I said something I did not.
I was certainly busier from Porto a month ago and then when you get to Redondela very busy especially if you want to stay in the municiples, but there are lots of other places to stay.
Yes I know. I'm sorry. I know exactly what you mean. It is so important to respect the elements whether mountain or sea. And thanks very much for the tip about the slots off the road on way to orisson.
Blimey. Just reread your post. More than bit harsh frankly.
Actually I'm trying to be sensible. I won't go to orisson at all costs. I was saying I wouldnt risk going any further.
You completely missed my intentions.
Thank you both.
I have a booking for orisson and do want to get up there.
So if weather not dramatically changed I will cab back to sjpdp the following day and take a bus to Roncesvalles.
Goodness.
Since I shall be on my own, I might well just cab it from orisson if weather looking bad.
Thing is that in another thread it says that frisson take you to varcarlos if weather up Napoleon impassable.
I stayed there about 4 weeks ago and it seemed fine. I did sleep in the smaller bunk room downstairs though. There was talk from other pilgrims 10 days ago about bed bugs. But the hostel had been closed and fumigated (or whatever they do)
