When I do my trail walk, which is part of my physical and mental fitness program, I walk fast and hard. When I walk Camino, I'm primary a pilgrim, as such, I try to stop by chapels, churches, shrines, cathedrals. I'm also a casual tourist. I walk and take rest at will.
I dropped my phone in an ALSA bus on the way to Finisterre. The manager of the Albergue where I stayed for the night did not lend me his Smartphone calling ALSA for my lost phone. I'm not sure if it is a unique case?!
Had walked CF and CP.
The St. Francis Way in Italy and the Kumano Kudo in Japan are on my radar. (2025 is a Jubilee Year in Rome.)
To obtain the "dual pilgrim certificate" is one of the reasons for Kumano Kudo, a scenic hiking trail.
My booking experience with booking .com is to pay in Euro to the hotel, by credit care, when I actually checked-in. The credit card company will convert it into US$.
The US$ shows at the time of booking is an estimation only. Due to FX, the US$ mentioned during booking and by the time at...

I can't recall the name of the cafe/restaurant, which seemed mainly serving pulpo, which...
It was end of April and early May, I wore Merrell Moabs with Gore-tex from SJPP to SDC; it was great for the cold in the morning, and walking in the rain.
If I were walking in warm/hot months, I would have hiking sandals. An additional benefit of using hiking sandals is no need to carry...
I organized a group of 16 including myself happily and successfully completed Camino Portugues this past May.
I don't want to be a "tour manager" responsible for participants' "flights, accommodation, meals, ....". I wanted to enjoy the walk without "burden" too. As such, a prerequisite for...
It is how I did it when using Google Chrome;
1. In the site, e.g., www.gronze.com, move the mouse (pointer) to anywhere in the page.
2. Right mouse click, a drop-down menu is popped up.
3. The last third entry is "translate to English".
4. Google will ask you if you also want to translate this...
