Any light sleeping bag you can get. I got mine in a store for motorcycle stuff. It should be comfortable for temperatures down to 8/10°C.
In case it is too warm you can open the sleeping bag. If it is too cold 🥶 and you have a liner only you might be trembling at night.
According to this website an identical monument is located at the Punta Fuciño do Porco on the galician north coast near Covas between Foz and Ortigueira.
On my first Camino in 2008 I had some doubts about what I‘m doing when it didn‘t stop raining after 6 days.
I prayed to the universe and told those people up there 👆🏻, if they won’t stop the rain, I‘ll stop and go home.
The next day there was bright sunshine and I went on to Santiago.
I arrived...
At this time of the year the weather and snow conditions may vary from day to day.
I‘ve been walking the Via Podiensis by end of april and a few days before reaching SJPdP we were told by several hospitaleros along the way the Route Napoleon is still closed.
Upon reaching SJPdP on may 5th the...
Sorry to hear of your mishap with jacotrans.
However, I support previous messages saying not to book the whole journey at once but on a day to day basis.
Another thing in your story worries me quite a bit.
Just ten days after getting two stents you start such a challenge?
Wow! 😲

Peanut butter is not an exclusive flavour to americans.
You‘ll find it in the Netherlands (Pindakaas), Belgium (Pindakaas/beurre de cacahuète), France (beurre de cacahuète) and Germany (Erdnussbutter) in any supermarket.
I can’t remember to have seen it in Spain, but I guess it will be available...
Hi Cayou,
next time try the camino duro, which turns off to the right shortly after passing the bridge in Villafranca. A short steep ascent and you will be high above the valley, guardrails and highways.
Very beautiful alternative.
Just continue climbing the ramp on the right side.
It will...
Ambitous, but possible.
Divide about +/- 900km by 30 = 30km/day.
A look into gronze.com or using the planificador at godesalco.com will give you a hint about where to stop for the night.
Buen camino
Hehe 😄 ... anyone?
You will meet more than a hundred pilgrims starting at SJPdP the same day.
Stay overnight at any albergue (I’d recommend Beilari) the night before and you will meet plenty of peregrinos.
Making friends for the rest of your pilgrimage (may be for life).
Starting from SJPdP...
Not thinking about ... I did it!
Camino frances after 6 years again.
In between several different caminos ... camino aragones, ingles, portugues, Via Podiensis, St. Olavs Way.

Walking is good for my personal health.
It‘s a perfect cardio training for my heart.
A fellow pilgrim mentioned ... “Pilgrimage is balm for body, mind and soul“.
There‘s nothing to add.
@Kiernan: There‘s no irony. You can do the camino by sailing boat.
Check your pilgrim‘s passport (Credencial). You‘ll find the appropriate symbol ⛵️ for it.
