We loved the walk in the Sept. weather when we went, and stayed in Orissa the first night as well, just to shake off the jet lag.
My only suggestion for training is make sure you actually walk with your weighted pack, we ran into a lot of people who spent all their training time time walking...
Way to go all....now I am 'thirsty', and will have to take a wander out of my isolated chink of heaven with my wife to pick up some more Spanish and Portuguese wine!
They go very nicely with the sour dough bread my wife started making during this pandemic...better pick up some cheese though...
My wife and I took the bus from Santiago to Porto, Portugal (about 2.5 hours or so) and spent 3 wonderful days exploring this beautiful city (and the port houses!)
Well, not to brag, but I do have a picture of a local gathering chestnuts, riding a donkey he claimed was the most famous in all of Spain...every pilgrim took the same picture every day.

The coffee table book does inspire conversations, and many great memories. Our table top book of the CF and CP were always being checked out in the 'old days', like when people could come into your house and have wine....sigh.
At least I still have wine!
