    Weather forecast - YIKES??!

I very nearly sent clothes home after starting on the Mozarabe a couple of weeks ago. First few days out of Almeria hot and dry. Bag a little too heavy so I thought to send my poncho, trouser/shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt home. Luckily for me, the post office didn't open until the...

What would you change about the CF - if you could?

Definitely agree about the toilet litter; I was astonished and disgusted by the amount. What's wrong with having a plastic bag and disposing of it sensibly? Not only is it an eyesore, it's a health risk. Apart from that, I loved the journey.

    Auberge Borda

Definitely when I was there in 2022. I can't remember whether it was an option or whether everybody ate vegetarian but I do remember it being delicious and plentiful.

    Auberge Borda

We did similar. A good way to get those legs used to walking again. Orisson is a great stopping place (I did stay there in 2020 - had the auberge to myself, very strange) and if the horses are around with their bells, that adds to the splendour of the scenery.

    Auberge Borda

Like everyone else, I loved my stay at Albergue Borda in Summer 22 with my grandson. It was a great introduction to community meals and talking with people from other cultures.

    "normal" daily routine

Perhaps the only 'normal' is that we are practically all walking west (apart from those brave sous who retrace their steps after arriving in SdC. Apart from that, we are all individuals with our own itineraries and purposes. It'a a wonderful place to be.

My Camino de Santiago: Reflections and a Heart Opened

Thank you, Ken, for sharing your personal experiences of life on and off the Camino. We certainly should count our blessings and live our lives to the full whilst being mindful of those around us.

Congratulations @VintageCowgirl . I also entered SDC in the pouring rain, but nothing like you have experienced. When you find some sunshine, encourage a little towards Normandy 🌧️🌧️🌧️

Coming to the Camino Frances, a flood of tour groups

Supply and demand. If people will (can) pay, others will supply. Not my cup of tea (or my budget!)

Sorry but it isn't something that gets out of your system easily. Can't wait for number 3 starting in 10 days 😊

    Pilgrim Police

I encountered them last summer when they were checking that people were OK and had water. Definitely looking after us.
