Have been doing it wrong all these years

I think if it fits her budget & time frame, it sounds great. I've met and walked with people on similar trips and they seem to love it. Not my choice but that really doesn't matter.

Which is more accepted, Visa, Mastercard or American Express?

You can actually do searches on the respective websites for ATM locations. http://www.visa.com/atmlocator/index.jsp#(page:results,params:(query:Spain)) http://www.mastercard.com/global/atmlocations/ You can check the camino route and see what's available. I found the same as others have said...

    Coldest section of Camino Frances?

I guess it can happen anywhere along the route but the stretch between Carrion & Calzadilla in May 2012 was the coldest I encountered. Just having some of your face exposed was enough to keep you cold all day, a driving icy wind, just a miserable day for walking. Still it all depends on what you...

    Larrasoana Albergues

I actually can't remember it at all. So, the Camino doesn't go through the village at all? I see that Eroski & Mundicamino both have it on their route.

    Larrasoana Albergues

Has anyone stayed at Pension Tau? Not an Albergue but looks nice enough on their website. Strange that it's not in Miam-Miam-Dodo 2013, unless it's new.

Pamplona to SJPP or Bayonne to SJPP?

If you haven't checked https://www.rome2rio.com/s/Barcelona/Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port you might find it helpful. Train to Bayonne 8:42min (Then you need to get train/bus to SJPP) Train & Bus via Pamplona to SJPP 7:42min Others might correct if this is incorrect as I've never travel from Barcelona...
