I did Porto to Tui in June and would appreciate some tips regarding the last leg (Central route), which I am hoping to do in October. I have the Brierley map book, which I found useful in June. A. Camino Portuguese
I'm going to Oporto on Tuesday and I plan to walk to Tui (alone) then return by tren from Valenca to Oporto, and I've already arranged accommodation. Tomorrow the Brierly Camino Portugues map should arrive. Any words of wisdom appreciated!- Alex M

Re Portuguese Central Route (Porto to Tui only)
I am hoping to do Porto to Tui soon (March). Can someone kindly advise on following: (1) Is it necessary to book room more than one day in advance?; (2) is it necessary to arrange luggage transfer in advance?
