Bom Caminho! I lived in Portugal quite a few years, and followed the Caminho in 2018. The Portuguese are hospitable, helpful people with a long history of which they are proud. They would prefer that those who do not speak Portuguese use English rather than Spanish.

those 4 towns are steeped in history so if you are interested in learning about the country rather than just passing through, you might want to do this part.
Lisbon is one of my most favorite cities of all, ever. Lived there for awhile and would love to go back. But, with your time constraints, I would agree with all who say Porto. Much to see and do.
