There is a Albergue in Rubiães. Un maned but very good. The Caminho passes on the backside where there is a smal red gate. There is a restaurant aprox. 1km furter down the road and a small grocery 1km furter down.

I walked the Caminho Portugues last year and olny got the stamp at the albergue.
Where do they expect us to get the second stamp??

The Caminho Portugués doesn't pass Braga - maybe thats why you didn't meet so many people and also the time of year.. :)
