Hi Evelyn There is a Albergue in Rubiães. Un maned but very good. The Caminho passes on the backside where there is a smal red gate. There is a restaurant aprox. 1km furter down the road and a small grocery 1km furter down. Bom Caninho Robert- peregrino robert

Hi I walked the Caminho Portugues last year and olny got the stamp at the albergue. Where do they expect us to get the second stamp?? I'm walking again this year same route but via Vila do Conde.. Robert Bom Caminho Sempre vai com os olhos abertos- peregrino robert

well you are a bit of route aren't you? The Caminho Portugués doesn't pass Braga - maybe thats why you didn't meet so many people and also the time of year.. :) I went for the first time in July and as Spain and the last 100km came closer, more and more "Dominqueros" joined the Caminho.. :(...- peregrino robert

I did the Caminho Portugues 22-31 july 2009 and started in Maia. I took the Metro from the station Trindad to Maia and found the Caminho at the church "Igreja da Maia".
