    Blankets 2023

For sleeping bags on a budget try Snugpak their gear is not the lightest but pretty good. I use one of their lightest bags and cost/weight trade fof is fine for me.

    Biking from Belgium

Two solutions: Cycle back or go by train. For the train you will need a bike bag/box which I believe are available in SdC, to cycle back, just you legs and time.

Advice please - Norte or CF or??

You will be physically tested, there are several climbs, the climb to Cebriero for instance, less than the Pyrenees but significant, and don't discount the mental and spiritual challenges of walking long distances. You seem to have a good mindset and I suspect you will look back on it with a...

    Only 3 days ... but hey it's a start !

Can be tough there is a lot of uphill so take it easy there's no need to hurry. Poles are good for uphill and even better, I think, for down hill. You need to use them properly and there are a lot of videos on You Tube showing good technique watch them and practice. If you buy some cheap poles...

The good the bad and the downright ugly are all on the camino not to mention the occasional angel. Mind you the devil is supposed to be a fallen angel so be aware of your surroundings and who is about.
