Last month the Alsa bus from Pamplona to SJPP was nice, comfortable and full of other pilgrims. The bus left at noon. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time overnight in Pamplona beforehand. Also enjoyed arriving in SJPP with part of a day to spend there.

I used ALSA bus in Sept. 2021 and it was very easy. Bus leaves from Terminal 4; change buses at Zaragoza, and into Pamplona by late afternoon. Buses were clean, on time, everything well-organized.

FYI, we spent three days walking from Sahagún to León. They were three short, easy days, but, still, 3 days! We beat our transported luggage to León, and that was less fun than we thought it would be.
