You are leaving yourself a very very small window to get to the Atocha Station. Do you already have a train ticket? Maybe the ALSA bus to Pamplona would be best. I will arrive in Madrid at 0900 and will take bus 203 to the Atocha Train Station. It leaves terminal 2 every 15 minuets and...
I stand corrected. A bus leaves about every 15 minutes from the Barajas to the Atocha train station. Bus number 203. Takes just under 1 hour according to GOOGLE maps. Buen Camino
I'm in the same situation you are. April 12th 0900 arrival. Mass transit to Atocha. We opted for the later 1505 train to Pamplona, arrival time 1830. Better safe that sorry. According to GOOGLE maps it should take about 30 minutes via subway then train. GOOGLE is not always right. Buen...

Take the subway at the Madrid terminal 4 to the Atocha Railway Station where you can catch a non stop to Pamplona then share a taxi to SJPDP. You can GOOGLE the route to the station and book the train on line at the RENFE web site. In Pamplona you can stay at the Pension Corazon (see the web...
Thank you every one for your help. Pink line to Ministerios then the Green RENFE commuter line to the Atocha train station. :) Muy Bien Camino
Happy Trails
Help. I'm trying to map out the route from Barajas airport to Madrid Puerta de Atocha train station. According to GOOGLE Maps I take the pink line, line 8, to Nuevos Ministerios then take the green line to the train station except there is no green line from the Ministerios station and the...
You can get from the airport to the bus/train station on the Madrid Subway system. We were able to go to our hotel, the Prado, Train Stations, and the US Embassy via the subway system. Cheaper than a cab. You can check it out on line.
Buen Camino
