When I walked through this part of France on my way from Rome I just stayed on the coastal road all round the riviera to Mandelieu, I think there was a pavement nearly all the way so safe enough. I just ignored the traffic and looked at the sea!- Pilgrim 122

London to Santiago best route?
Hello, I walked from home ( south London) to Santiago a few years ago . I walked to Portsmouth and took the ferry to Cherbourg. LIVE from the Camino Chemin du Mont-Saint-Michel (Ouistreham)
I walked on les chemins de mont st Michel in 2014, from Cherbourg on my way to Santiago. I got maps off their website, there wasn't really any signage. I stayed with a religious community in Genets and then walked across the sand to the island. What an amazing experience! Im looking forward to...- Pilgrim 122
