I can speak only for myself, but I believe the purpose for a modern time pilgrimage is to answer the questions a pilgrims soul is seeking for. They may have a matter in past, present or future, being of spiritual or material nature, but important enough to go ahead. I see it as bell shaped curve...
wanderlust would be fine, however in order to qualify for being a dromomaniac, one would need to have “an abnormal drive or desire to travel that involves spending beyond one's means and sacrificing job, partner, or security in the lust for new experiences….”
Far beyond my current capabilities 🥸
Obviously the Camino is for everyone, no need to list any criteria to qualify. And yes, San Fermin is still on my bucket list, I hope it will be fun after all 🐂 🤩
Right, but is there anything we should take for granted in advance? There is only one thing being certain, our earth life is limited ... everything else might be found out in the field, with a suffering or without.
In 2 weeks one can do a combo of La Senda de Camille + Camino Aragones. Senda is a really spectacular circular track in Pyrenees, well maintained and could be entered at Somport https://www.lasendadecamille.com/en/stages/ . Next then CA from Somport to Pamplona. This combination requires some...

2. Weather forecast when walking Camino: looking out of the window indeed :)

I have mostly walked solo, but I would say that every pilgrim whom I met on...

Great advices above indeed! But I hardly can imagine bunk-bed-sleeping or communal dinners in the year 2021 of corona era.. So either private accommodation or camping out where it is possible?
- learn some Spanish
