I used the Buen Camino app to occasionally "see" my location. The markers, yellow arrows, and other pilgrims made getting lost rather hard. It was also very helpful in providing alburgue locations and phone numbers to make reservations.

Here in Madrid. Headed to St.. Jean tomorrow. Wife decided to get "all Camino" and not take her hairdryer on our 11 day Camino. Originally brought for our 8 "post-Camino" days...lol.
Mrs. Beeks wouldn't go on Camino without one, which means I'M bringing one. We had many "discussions" 😐 about it, and it's basically her comfort item. For purposes of harmony, I'll be a tough guy and lug the extra 12 ⁷/⁸ ounces. My 11 year old daughter will probably use it also.

We're also starting from SJPdP on April 10. Most of my family members have wool issues. We're going to layer a long sleeve technical shirt, short sleeve technical shirt, regular shirt, with a polar fleece jacket as required. We have rain jacket and pants, which can be used as an extra layer...
