The only downside of having a big bag is that if you have the space, you will try to fill it! And that's not always necessary. Good luck finding all your other supplies! Hi Yesi! Since you are just doing the Sarria to Santiago section, you don't need anything over the top or heavy duty. I think a 28L bag is just fine. I am all about being frugal and keeping things cheap, so I fully support that bag ;)- MeganG22

Cell Phone Options
Just wanted to add another option- leave the phone at home! :) Of course this depends on how often you use it and feel you need to be in touch..... I was gone a total of 8 weeks, including 32 days of that on El Camino and LOVED not having my phone with me. Plenty of albergues and internet cafes...- MeganG22

Wood Hiking Sticks/Poles Bring or Buy upon arrival?
