Sorry if this has already been suggested. THis is what I wear - very comfortable and no ban around the arm.

I am in Australia, but my go to is the Macpac Eclipse shirt. It's stretchy, light weight and looks nice. They also survive the dryer reasonably well (goodbye bedbugs!) Here is the link for a purple one but I'm pretty sure they release new colours every year - mine is pale green check...
I second the use of Osprey external hydration systems! If you use a bladder, they’re great on a Camino as you can pull out the bladder and refill without emptying the contents of your pack. FYI I use an Osprey Tempest 40. Works for me.
I took a Kindle with me but then I need to read like I need oxygen. There was never any doubt that it was coming. I chose taking the Kindle in addition to an iPhone as the battery lasts much longer, doesn’t heat up and a Kindle is kinder on the eyes than a smart phone. Never regretted it. If...
I LOVE Osprey packs. Geez if I could be a rep for them, I would!
The Ultreia pack is a great idea too. One suggestion - it needs to be able to stand a hot clothes dryer! I’m serious!
The Tempest 40, with an attached lid, built in rain cover and the ability to handle a hot dryer for 30mins (to...
I took flip flops to use in the shower then wore them around the town after walking. Their soles were soft so they were great to air my feet but also to give them a break from my hiking shoes.
In addition to all my Christmas shopping, I took advantage of the sales to get some new boots (Merrells this time), some light gaiters (I've been wanting these for a while) and some new socks. Next Camino is only in the planning stages but plenty of hiking to be done!
I used a scrubba! IT was great until my sister tossed it out when she's chucked out both of our packs in Ponferrada after we found they were bed bug infested.
AS for shampoo - I used a Lush shampoo bar (also chucked by my sister) so went to buying minis. I struggled to find conditioner though...
My sister tired out the merino ones (brand name not mentioned 😉) and reckoned they were a bit scratchy after a wash and a tumble dry!
Myself, I took three pairs of my regular undies (pretty old but not quite threadbare) and they were totally fine. I would wash them in the shower or by hand...
Love your post :) my favourite piece of chubby girl equipment was a pair of cut off Lycra leggings I work under shorts and skirts to stave off the dreaded thigh chafe. Yes they were ugly and my skinny sister teased me about them but I had a chafe free Camino.
Buen (chafe free) Camino
Such a great post! On our Camino together, my sister and I worried about our sustainability regarding our use of plastics etc.
This time, I am trying to do better (much less plastic and more reusable products) however a couple of zip locks have snuck their way in - mainly for meds, first aid...
OMG bedbugs! We had a lot of experience with this! (Another story on another thread.)
My sister and I washed and dried all of our gear in high heat including all of our technical, lightweight hiking pants etc.
The technical stuff shrank but that was cool - it was pretty stretchy anyway and...
I walked the CF in Aug/Sept last year and was still cold in some of the alburgues in a sleep sheet and my warm clothes! As we walked through September, there were times when I was very cold so I bought a cheap sleeping bag from Decathlon. This year we are doing it in Mar/Apr and I'm definitely...
