“For most” yes. Someone mentioned a bloody nose. I know people who can walk but cannot squat without two people to help them kepp it a “squat” instead of a “sit” (and to help them get back up).
I was also a Linux guy but switched to Apple (for the family’s sake) when they ditched their dinosaur O.S. for a BSD variant. Although the quality is generally better, ever major update irritates me with the gratuitous changes in how-to-do-things for the sake of eye candy. AND, in my...
The attitude of some people may be a problem, and the owners should not be treated disrespectfuly, but there’s nothing wrong with the adjective or noun chino.
Alcampo. The one in Burgos wasn’t as big as a typical Walmart but had all kinds of things and I shopped there often. But I bought most of my groceries at Mercadona, Día, Aldi, Simply.
I’m not aware of a Walmart in Spain, but I doubt even they could undercut the chinos.
Second that! Bought an iPad charger, and though it looked the same, the pins were just barely far enough apart that I could not plug it in!! If they’re that sloppy on physical measurements, not a chance I would trust the electronics inside.
The ones I have seen/tested were lighter than any of the many plug in ones I’ve used. But as I said, all of those were junk (which explains the pilgrims leaving them behind).
They look like the ones that open by squeezing from the long ends. If so, they come in two sizes, but they are not waterproof. Not that waterproof matters with coins. We first got the larger size (from Amazon) but returned them because the force to open them was uncomfortable. Got the...

If I go to a different place, my IP address changes. If I stay in the same place, it stays the same for a few days to a few weeks, but it eventually changes. Maybe they go by MAC address or IMEI, but even those can be faked by those who know the tricks.
Scanning through all the “my bank does/doesn’t this/that,” I think part of the advice might be “change banks if you don’t like the way they do things."
There are also battery packs available that recharge themselves from solar power. I presume that some of them are quality products, but two or three were abandoned at our albergue that turned out to be garbage when I tested them.
There are sources of GPX files for the Camino, but also there are various tools that can convert KML to GPX.
https://gpsvisualizer.com can convert GPX to KML.
For a few years, I had “Project Fi” from Google. It may have changed since I got rid of it, but then, the good side was that it worked in all thirty countries I’ve been in without changing phone numbers. The bad side is that I had to buy one of three specific models of phone to get it...
Not today. Get a blank page with a title of “oops.” No matter to me—I’m not going to I’m not going to wear more than one ring and the wedding ring wins. But it is a very nice ring.
That Camino-theme ring is really cool. If I were unmarried, I’d probably wear it on my right hand.
(ring on each hand would be too gaudy for my personality.)
Where would I look if I wanted to buy one?
The only things on the list you can't buy in Spain are:
passport (and what’s in the wallet)
pair of worn in Keen hiking boots (but I got a good price on new shoes in Estella)
Of course it may be more convenient and/or less expensive to bring many things with you. It's a trade-off, weight vs...
