OMG!! I have the same pants, i bought them 10 years ago, I love the big pockets where i carry wallet, phone passport and credential, I really do not care if they are baggy and the fly, the fabric is excellent, fast drying have taken them to ALL MY CAMINOS , and already pack for my new adventure...- erith long

ahh, then you get a Wind Proof( resistant) umbrella.I have this one I bought on e bay 2x1 (for 10 pounds sterling) Both my husband and I have use it for 3 caminos, plus other hikings here in UK, great for rain and wind and extra shade if sun is very strong...- erith long

I think you are better off buying a cheap old unlocked phone and get a Lebara or Lycamovil SIM card, for emergency phone calls and messages and use your IPHONE when you find a place with WIFI, i will you save money- erith long
