You can't call it a bandana - because that is a clearly defined product, typically square in shape that can be tied around the head, used as a hankerchief etc.
A buff is not like this. Someone ordering a bandana and getting a buff would be well...
It isnt a bandana, clearly not ... so not wise to name it something it isnt. Ditto with some of the other names.

Buff is, I'm pretty sure, the trade name for a snood. Just as Coke is a trade name for a cola.
Snood is the name UK English speakers are most likely to know I think.
I dont use poles, they seem awkward to me. On my first two Camino's I bought a wooden staff for each trip, which whilst not essential, made a nice souvenir. If you walk a lot now, and you use poles, continue. If not ... they arent essential.
Liner or bag. I would suggest a liner to be enough...

I didnt take much in the way of cosmetics or first aid ... and I think my bag was heavier. Dont really need the cutlery either I think. Or a mug.
Something with short sleeves / shorts / skirt would be a must I think.
Earplugs - Several pairs is a good idea...
