LIVE from the Camino @Wanderlustesq on the Primitivo

WOW! I can't believe how hi the prices have gone up. I just finished the Primitivo last April and the most I spent on a private room was 44euro. The cheapest was an albeurgue in Borducedo for 5 euro.

    Domingo & David?

Thanks Nadine, You were very influential on my decision to walk the Primitivo vs just walking from Pamplona to Sahagun. I walked with 12 pilgrims all the way to SDC. And the memories we made will never be forgotten. After all in the end that is all that we have.......memories.

    Domingo & David?

I finished the Primitivo April 7th. I walked from Oviedo to Grado and then Grado to Bodenaya. That second stage I believe was my hardest. It was hot and steep and I didn't drink hardly any water. That was my fault. But I wouldn't change it for the world. Bodenaya was my most memorable evening on...

Nadine, liked your video on the CP. I leave for Oviedo in 8 days. How long was that first day to get to Cornella and how well does the Hospitilero at the Monestary speak English. My Spanish is ok but on the phone could be a little choppy....I'd like to make a reservation

LIVE from the Camino Late July 2021 Primitivo!

Hello! Loved your post. I'm planning on May 2022 Primitivo. I'm very interested if you take the Hospitales Route and if you do what the experience was like since you stated it has been very quiet on the Camino. Also, do you plan on going all the way to SDC? I only have 10-12 days of walking...

I agree. I plan on OVIEDO -LUGO. I have a total of 15 days for travel and walking. I would also like a day to stay in LUGO and see the sights. Sounds like that should be enough. Gracias a todos!

Some people on this thread had suggesting just hiking to Lugo. What is your advice and experience on time etc. I think September would be a good time to go. Any pearls of wisdom as I am hiking alone. ie food, water etc. How many pilgrims are walking etc. I like the solitude but do want to meet...
