Have walked this route years ago. Din't meet anybody doing the whole route. but just a few walkers doing one/two days bits. This said i would be very surprised if there would be an organized service for bag transports . It is a very beautiful route.
Check here if you can find some clue...

The well-known guide from Monique Chassain not being available any more one of the problems for pilgrims willing to walk this beautiful route is an updated guide.
Have found that a new guide just came to light by the Lepere Editions.
It's in French but ,as usual, maps and basic indications on...
As the Chassain guide is not available anymore, the only place to get information is probably this guide

We did the Vezelay route thru Bourges in May. Met half a dozen people. Most of the time me and my wife were alone for the night. As someone else said above pay attention to food as there are often few places to refer to. We enjoyed very much the ospitality of the Friend of the Chemin , they were...
Hi rich,
We (myself and wife) have walked the Vezelay route in 2009. Great wiews and very few pilgrims.
the Vezelay route has about a tenth of the walkers than le Puy. But unfortunately also accomodation is much scarcer. Some of the gites available along the route offer four places. Quite a few...
Not having walked the Tauronensis it's hard to answer your question...however we did walk from Vezelay last year so let me just say that it's a good itinerary with a rather good infrastructure for pilgrims (you can go thru this chapter of this forum to find out ). One special thing we...

Hallo Laraine,
the Vezelay route is certainly the less crowded af the french walks. Even more so in the period you will be on it. We did the walk in the month if may last year and we met about a dozen walkers, only two of them doing the whole stretch, the others being local or wek end walkers...
Hallo Lael, it's always hard to make a choice. We've walked Arles in 2005 and Vezelay in 2009.
Definitely Arles way is more spectacular and gives a great variety of landscape and places to see. Some of the stages are a bit hard as you have ups and downs but manageable. Accomodation is pretty...
Me and wife Elisa have been walking the Vezelay route last May. Don't recall dogs on their own, so don't think you should worry about this. Not very many pilgrims around ( at that time we recall having read on albergue books a total of 370 during first five months of 2009) but we believe safety...
Hallo zohard, we are just back from the vezelay route. Walked from Vezelay to Sauveterre de bearn.
Great walk with very few people (have met 15 pilgrims alltogether) and plenty of places to camp, in the open or,better , in the camping grounds that many of the villages can provide. This said, i...
