May I ask where you got your pilgrim's passport stamped in Hendaye? I'll be walking the Camino a week before Easter next year so I presume the albergue will be closed if it was closed for you at the end of March.- Diefenbaker

I agree, I'd never heard of it until I looked at alternatives to starting from SJPDP. It seems to make so much sense when I read about so many people trying to find out the best way to get to St Jean from Biarritz or Bayonne when Hendaye/Irun are just down the road.
