LUGO - Is it worth it for a side trip

Hi Pilgrims, Has anyone been to Lugo from the Camino Frances? I was thinking about visiting for the day from Vega de Valcarce with a passenger service, but not sure if that's the best place to go from? Otherwise, I would do it from Sarria. Any recommendations? Thank you, Olivia

Arriving and Departing the Primitivo for 100km

Hi All, I just caused myself to panic because I forgot which bus line schedule to look at. We are flying Boston-Madrid-A Coruna, then taking the Arriva, not Alsa, bus to Lugo to begin. The Arriva bus takes about an hour and costs 11 euro. The Alsa bus goes to Oviedo, then back to Lugo, in 6.5...
