Anyone wanting to stay Ranabal who wants some peace and mindfulness I highly recommend The Stone Boat half way up the town on the right hand side. It is only recently opened and run by Kim who is a wonderful giver. There are only three room, a single (that I stayed on), a double and a twin room. It’s absolutely wonderful with a fantastic breakfast. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Book early to avoid disappointment or maybe you might be lucky just like me!

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
It was still under construction when I was there in June and Kim was in León doing shopping but one of the workers and a friend showed me around when they heard that I knew Kim. It looks very warm and welcoming.

I've met Kim on two occasions - during my first Camino in 2010 and again this past winter - both at the Peaceable in Moratinos. I am pleased that she has found her home on the Camino and can share her experience with others.
