Hi there,
i hope to do part of the camino this coming september,
i have 11 days to do what i can, i'm 30 and athletic so not afraid of walking but do not want to turn it into a mindless dash, so could someone please advise me where i should start from.
I had originally planned to fly from dublin to valladolid get a bus to the route, the town escapes me now.
Since i have started researching this i am beginning to beleive the camino portegues may be of the right time frame.
So if anyone has done both camino portegues/francis which would they recommend for 2 weeks,
thanks in advance,
john

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
My trip, at the end of July, will take ten days in total:

Fly to Santiago (1 day)
Coach to Piedrafita (to join the Camino Frances at O'Cebreiro) (1 day)
Walk back to Santiago (7 days)
Return home (1 day)

It would be easy to stretch that distance over a couple more days - you could have a rest day in the middle of the walk and perhaps spend a bit more time exploring Santiago at the end.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
