May (2017)
Mom, daughter pilgrimmage. Hopefully arriving to SJPDP, after flying from Vancouver to Biarritz via Paris, the evening of Thursday May 11.
Just booked the flights! We land in Biarritz at 1650 hrs.
Do we have enough time to make the last train to SJPDP? Bus or taxi from airport?
Very excited!
Do we need to book a place to stay for the night?
Expecting to be tired. Thinking about spending the next morning enjoying the town and walking in the afternoon to Orrison. Thank you to all who have contributed to this great site and to Ivar for making it possible.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hy!
My friend and I are travelling 2 days afer you..you have a train arround 18h from Bayonne and i am sure you can arrive in time..i made a reservation for a transport with
http://www.expressbourricot.com/
They pick you up at Biarritz airport with reasonable price that can be really cheap if there are more people...look at their web page
And it seams it would be easier if you book at SJPDP for a night..but of course it is not necessary...i did it..the first night i decided to sleep in B&B
Buen camino

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Thanks for the info! We are hoping to catch the last train. Probably getting a taxi from the airport since the bus may not leave us enough time. I will check into the possibility of sharing a ride from Biarritz to SJPDP. I'm wondering if we will arrive to late to stay
at Beilari? I will book in Orisson as well.
Buen Camino!
