Hi 1st time Camino walker.. Doing the Frances. Hoping to start from SJPDP around the 19th/20th May. Any hints in regards to getting from Paris to St J.

We will be three days ahead of you and we will be going by train. This is a first for us as we have always flown into Biarritz before.

Train from Montparnasse to Biarritz, local train to SJPP. Super easy.

I'm flying in/out of London from Alaska to spend a month with a friend before meeting up with another friend to walk the Camino. We are purposely taking trains from London to SJPP for fun (takes longer, more expensive but TRAINS! ) So we have to take the Eurostar to Paris and then like the others say, you take off from Montparnasse station in Paris.

My itinerary looks like this:
Montparnasse to Bayonne
An hour and some "layover" in Bayonne, switch trains
Bayonne to SJPP

We used this site: https://uk.voyages-sncf.com/en/#/ to figure it out/book it.
I had no reason for going to Bayonne rather than Biarritz.
