Hi Crackmrmac
Which direction should we go with the metro? where to get off? where are we connect to camino?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
In one of his guidebooks John Brierly gives option for those that want to avoid city pavements, drab surburbs, noisy traffic etc. He suggests taking metro to Maia and joining waymarked route from Igreja de Maia. It requires a 1km walk back (westward) to join the waymarked route just below Igreja de Maia. I assume if you can't locate yellow arrows you msimply make your way to Igel

Take the metro to Fórum Maia. Walk from there to Mosteiro do Vairão. About 14 kms through a rural area. Than day two to São Pedro de Rates and day three to Barcelos. Take care you have an official credential to stay in the albergues.

Alternative. Train to Barcelos, walk day one to privatvalbergue casa da Fernanda in Vitorino dos Piaês. 18 kms than to Ponte de Lima 15 kms , take the bus back to Viana do Castelo and walk back to Esposende 23 km(ocean at your right side ! ) and travel back by public transport to Porto. So you have an idea of the best of both caminhos the central and the coastal

Bom caminho
